New on the Block

As summer vacation is winding down (and the moving boxes are piling up), my new roommate and I have started planning for our last year of college life.  The neighborhood we’re going to be living in is on the more ‘conservative’ side of Columbia SC, but still offers a wide array of interesting people & influencing agendas. 

As a project for our final year, we’re going to be keeping a blog of the downtown Columbia community—this will not only keep us both in the ‘know’ of the area, but serve as a reminder that fascination leads to knowledge.

Our content will stay GREEN (TO OUR MEANS) in the hopes that other college students will follow suit.  Look for our very own tried and tasted recipes, music, and art; as well as the collections of those whom we support.
